Executive Director

Matthew is recognised as a dynamic business owner, leader and visionary. He has been working in the insurance industry since he was 16, started his own business at 27 and over 15 years took the family broking business from start-up to $15mil in premiums in 2015. His next journey was partnering with his friend and current Chairman Steve Campbell at Oracle Group Insurance Brokers, where he was instrumental in helping the company grow from $13mil premiums in 2016 to $100mil premiums in 2021. The Board asked Matthew to take over as Managing Director in 2019 and lead the growth from $50mil to $100mil in two years. He has combined two of his passions, craft beer and insurance, to create Crafted Insurance Pty Ltd with two of his partners. They are now making a difference for the Craft Beer & Distilling industry with decades of expertise. He has an extensive board experience of industry leadership groups, and to unwind, jumps on his beloved Harley Davidson. Matthew lives on the Gold Coast with his partner, and loves a great restaurant, great wine, a fresh fruity crisp beer and to relax by the water.
